Yep...I brought it back...but just changed the day!!! Friday seems like a great day to drool instead of work like we're supposed to be!

So..today's hottie is a guy I've adored for years.....way back when he was just Noah. Now he's got all kinds of other names under his belt. And if you didn;t find him completely sizzling in Crazy Stupid Love, well.....not sure we can be friends!! LOL!! J/K!

This week I decided to pay tribute to all those hunky guys that decorated my walls as a preteen and teen! All those pages I ripped from Teen Beat and Bop magazine. All those dreamy heartthrobs that made me melt!!

The first is a band that, at one time, decorated every square inch of my bedroom walls. And in all honesty, they are even hotter as grown men and if my husband would allow, I'd probably plaster my bedrooms walls with them now!!

Today's piece of man candy is my first foreign hottie! (Well, I had a Canadian or two, but I'm so close to Canada that it doesn't really feel like a different country to me!) I first saw this guy in a movie called Something New and then in a really fab movie, The Devil Wears Prada. He spoke perfect American English in both...so when I saw him in an interview, my mouth dropped open. Damn that Australian accent is so sexy!! Wikipedia tells me he is now an American Citizen...let's just hope he keeps his Aussie accent!

I have been a fan of Dancing with the Stars since season 1! As a dancer myself, I love that part of the show most of all, but when my favorite pro comes out with his shirt wide open or no shirt at all...OMG!!!! I don't care much about the dance anymore! Is it bad that one of my goals for my writing career is to become famous enough to be considered as a celebrity dancer???

And my first choice for my pro partner........none other than Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Got the idea for today's hunky guy from an adorable chick flick!! DVR'd it the other night and watched it. This guy isn't drool-worthy, per say, but he's just got this-boy-next door sex appeal. And that smile....heart melting!

Loved him in The Notebook, 27 Dresses and of course, Enchanted, too! And he had me laughing hysterically in Death at a Funeral. I'm not all into Xmen and whatever, but I'm sure he was hot in that too!

This week's hottie I discovered a few years ago while watching an Amanda Byne's movie titled "She's the Man". LOVE that movie!!! If you haven't seen it, basically Amanda's character wants to play soccer on the boys team but they won't let her so she transfers out of school and takes her brother's spot on a different school's team....and pretends to be a boy. She then shacks up with our featured hunk, her assigned roomie in the dorm, and of course, falls madly in love with him.

He's been in several other movies since then and I was reminded of his hotness once again the other night while flipping channels and catching "Step Up".

Ewww..that hero is SOOOO not my type.

Okay, so I'm reading a romance now and it's a pretty decent story. But when the author described the hero, he has long dark hair that he keeps pulled back in a ponytail. Which first of all, he is a wealthy business man and that kind of hair seems so uncharacteristic and also so out of style. This book is only 2 years old.

But anyway, nothing about a man's appearance turns me off faster than long hair. My apologies to my readers out there who like long hair. It is just not my thing. I am much more of a clean shaven, neat and tidy, short hair kind of gal. Preferable with some gel. Yes, I like a guy who uses product. (If you need some examples, click on my Hunksday posts)

So here I am with the story that is pretty good and this hero who just doesn't light my fire. So what's a girl to do....well....we fantasize. When I read the story, I still picture a tone and tanned guy, perfectly coiffed.

So what about you?? When you're reading romance and the character's description just doesn't appeal to you...and in romance, it really really should....do you imagine someone else instead??

This week, I had to go with someone I've crushed on for a long time. I am pretty girly- I like clothes and makeup, I do scrapbooking, I read romance, I adore romantic comedies...most of my interests are things that most guys think are stupid. And probably some girls too. But I sat intently through three movies that are all guy..nothing but suped up cars and scantily-dressed women. And all for one reason: Paul Walker.

Hello Hunksday!

My bloggy friend and fellow Lyrical Press author, Gina Gordon posts a photo every Wednesday, calling it "Hunk or Junk" and asks her readers what they think of her chosen hottie for the week!

I THOROUGHLY enjoy this...and who wouldn't??? Don't we all need a nice piece of man candy to drool over, I mean look at every once in a while??? Help get us though the day???

If it's okay with Gina, I'm gonna go ahead and borrow this fantastic idea!! But I'll do mine on Thursdays! And call it Hunksday instead!

So for my first Hunksday, I chose someone new to my list of hotties. We just recently got into Glee. We wanted to watch it when it started, but for one reason or another, we just didn't get to. So we waited and rented it and were instantly hooked. And when we ran out of DVD's available, we watched the last few online and then caught up in time to watch the finale when it aired live.

And the character that stole my heart almost instantly.....Puck.

I don't know what it is exactly..the eyes, the smile...the hair...the whole bad boy thing, but he is so so hot. And I was so so happy to find he is 27 and 100% legal.
