New feature??? What do you think??

It seems that many bloggers offer all kinds of writing advice and tips. And many of their readers adore them and really appreciate it. I have shied away from giving advice because, well, I don't feel I am in any position to give advice. I am still a newbie in this biz. What could I possibly say that can help???

Well, I have learned a lot so far. And why not share what I've learned?? Maybe I can help others and they can avoid my mistakes???

What do you think???

I thought of making this a weekly feature, until I run out of things to share. Maybe on Tuesdays.

  1. I think it's a good idea. I'd love to hear more about your publishing process and what marketing you're doing for your book. :)

  3. Thanks everyone!! I think I will do it. Like I said, I don't have tons of writing wisdom I can share, but I do have some incite into the world of digital publishing.

  5. I think this is a great idea, specially since you are published and many i know are barely surfacing the waters of publishing. You might help with querieng agents, what you have learned about agents and writing...such things are good tips most people enjoy. Good luck!

  6. I say go for it. We should NEVER stop learning...there's always something we don't know, no matter how long we're in this business.

  7. I think it is a fabulous idea. You may feel like a newbie all fresh sprouted and light green. But, to people like me who are still fumbling to finish a WIP you are an icon to look up to.

You aren't so established that you are full of yourself; yet, you are an awesome venue of self-encouragement that maybe some of the rest of us can get there too.

Good advice comes from experts; but the best advice coms from those trenching in the fields. ;-)

  12. Go for it! As you know, that's what I do on my blog and I started doing it from the very beginning when I was a total newbie. I think the model of "here's what I'm learning, so let me share what I've found with you" works. Or at least it has for me. I don't claim to know it all, I just find the info and pass it along. We all learn together. :)
