I miss my Sony Reader!!!!!!

It hasn't actually gone anywhere or anything. It's here...sitting...waiting for me to come back. And I so miss it.

I'm not neglecting it. I'm just reading a paperback right now, that's taking me a while to finish..not having much time for reading lately. Great story...I just haven;t had much time. It's called Stealing Midnight, by Tracy MacNish. Met her at a Writers Conference back in March. Bought one of her books and she signed it for me.

And after that, I have a copy of Matched by Ally Condie to read...a big hard cover.

It's not that I don't like a good old-fashioned book. I do. But man, my hands do get cramped...even with the mass market paperback that I'm reading now. Oh how I miss my reader and it's tiny size and one-button page turning capabilities!!

  1. Oh, I want to read Matched! I love my Nook. It is so different to read a physical book versus on an ereader. It takes me a little to adjust each time I switch back and forth.

  2. I've had several people tell me they love their ereaders, nooks ect ... I'm still resistant. My sister just got an ereader for Christmas and already she's hooked. *sigh* Still, for me, it's the paper. ;D

  3. I downloaded the Kindle app for iPhone and I love the interface, but I hate the price of eBooks. WAY too expensive. But then I get a lot of my books from the library. I'm a poor government worker so I can't afford to buy all the books I read. (About one a week!)

  4. I love my Sony as well. It's so easy! I do love reading physical books as well. Nice to trade off and on.

  6. I totally *HEART* my kindle. Stefanie Faris - you can download books for kindle from other e-publishing sites. You just download the format to the computer and then sync (or drag and drop) to the kindle (when plugged in to computer). I would think it would work similar for the iPhone app.

I love a good paper back and some books just have to be physically owned so that I can library out to friends. But, the kindle is awesome for the treadmill and it also takes up little space in my purse (I can take four or five books with me on trips that way).

And, yes, I love the comfortable *click* page button. AND, the on-demand capability for those 'I just can't wait' moments! :-)

  7. Thanks for stopping by everyone!

Thanks Chic Fit Geek!! I will stop by and pick it up!!

RaShelle, it's amazing how fast you become addicted to it!!

Stephanie, I do agree to a point. New books by bestselling authors are crazy in price. I wanted to read the 4th book in The Gallagher Girl Series...but the ebook was $15! Not gonna happen. I should probably check what it is now...probably has dropped in price. The most I have paid for an ebook is $10.
