“I think you need to go.”
The wide-eyed expression showed his shock and hurt. Gabriel’s lips started to form words, abandoning them in favor of narrowed eyes and a jaw clenched tight. “Maybe I was right all along,” he snarled as he walked toward the sliding glass door, then stared directly into her eyes. “You will run this place into the ground.” He stepped into the rain, still completely naked, without a look back.
