M is for Musicals!!! I guess this post goes hand in hand with my C post..which was Chicago. I am such a sucker for a great musical..even if I'm watching it in my own home instead of a theater.
I remember my first time watching Grease on TV. My mom and dad let me stay up late to watch it. Love it! The music and dancing.....so so fun!! And what kid didn't love The Wizard of Oz?
Those were the movies/musicals that started my love, but now I love so many others too: Hairspray, Chicago, Wicked, even High School Musical! I recently saw the preview for the Rock of Ages movie and I sooooo wanna see that!!!
And I adore Glee too, which is a musical on TV every week!

A-Z Challenge Day 3- C is for...
Chicago!
I admit, I never had heard of the musical until the movie was released in 2002. And even then, I didn't really care to see it. I had no clue what it was about. But then I was flipping channels one day and came across the weekend countdown on VH1. One of the videos on the countdown was for All That Jazz sung by Catherine Zeta Jones. The video was scenes from the movie. The music, the dancing, the costumes...yeah...I was hooked.
I saw the movie, I saw two different stage productions, I bought the soundtrack. I loved it all.
